OMG! So its my one year bloggerversary and I can’t believe how far I’ve come! I remember going back and forth with myself and my decisions for wanting to launch this blog and for some reason at that time, I would always push it back, push it back. So one day all my reasonings, fears, doubts, etc left my mind and heart and one day I just did it! I had those things hold me back for so long, for whatever reason because of thinking what can go wrong instead of just taking a leap of faith in which I did. When I started this blog, it was intended for me to make 1-2 garments throughout the week and to launch them on the blog on the weekend, hence the name of my blog, The Weekend Sew. I have a fashion degree so thats how everything came together. I’m a fashion designer, so I want to be able to showcase my clothing brand through my style. Now, it didn’t start out like that because since I have put it on hold for so long I just wanted to be able to put it out there and get the ball rolling so I can have some content to start circulating. I must say I came so far from when I started. Looking back at my pics ( so embarrassing LOL) from then to know, I’m happy with my growth and I know there’s so much more to learn on this journey. I’m learning everyday, meeting new people, getting small campaigns, getting noticed by top bloggers and the best part is, I’m having FUN! I absolutely love blogging and what I do! From the up’s, downs and everything in between, it’s well worth it when your trying to build a business. Those tests and trials help make you who you are and builds character. I just want to say I appreciate everyone’s likes, comments, and support for my blog. It means a LOT! From now on and the years to come I’m claiming all big opportunities, big companies to work with, magazine features, invited to NYFW, sponsored travel, prosperity, happiness, positivity, and love! With hard work, dedication and faith all these things are possible! So lastly, I thank you all to has been supporting me from day one and even recently THANK YOU. Thank you for following and supporting me thus far! I am absolutely grateful and appreciative of it all (even though I didn’t reach my 4K like I wanted to, but all good!) It’s only up from here, this is only the beginning! I know more great things are coming my way!
Happy One Year Bloggerversary to me! TWS-xoxo
